New Delhi, Online Desk. South Africa team has reached India for the 5-match T20 series. On Thursday morning, the team reached Delhi where the first T20 match is to be played. The 5-match T20 series between the two countries is going to start from June 9. In this series, in the absence of Rohit Sharma, the captain of the team has been given to KL Rahul while Rishabh Pant has been made the vice-captain. Apart from Rohit, Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli have been rested from this series.

Dinesh Karthik, Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya have returned through this series. These players did a great job for their respective teams in IPL. Under his captaincy, Hardik made his team the IPL champion in the very first season.

Umran and Arshdeep will debut

Through this series, Umran Malik, who bowled brilliantly for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Arshdeep Singh, who bowled for Punjab, will debut. Both have been included in Team India for the first time. South Africa’s team under the leadership of Temba Bavuma will start practice from June 3. However, during this time the team will have to undergo RT-PCR test daily.
