Virat Kohli ‘s eye on Sachin ‘s record: The Indian team against the West Indies has been announced. Kohli will have a golden opportunity to break Sachin Tendulkar’s 19-year-old ‘Virat’ record.

Virat Kohli’s eyes will be on Sachin’s record :-

Virat Kohli will be eyeing Sachin Tendulkar’s big record in the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. Actually, Virat needs only 102 runs to complete 13 thousand runs in ODI cricket.

If Kohli manages to score 102 runs in the three-match series, he will become the fastest batsman to complete 13,000 runs. Kohli has scored 12,898 runs in 265 innings of 274 matches played so far.

Kohli is far ahead of Tendulkar :-

Sachin Tendulkar completed his 13,000 runs in ODI cricket in the year 2004 while playing against Pakistan. Sachin achieved this milestone in his 321st innings. Apart from Sachin, only three other batsmen have been able to score 13,000 runs in the 50-over format. The names of Ricky Ponting, Kumar Sangakkara and Sanath Jayasuriya included in this list.
