India vs West Indies: Eden Gardens will be able to accommodate up to 75% of its capacity from February 16 for the three-match T20I series between India and West Indies.
The Capacity for Outdoor Play Behaviors :-
According to the Government of West Bengal. The site can accommodate 75 percent of the capacity for all indoor and outdoor play practices.

“All indoor and outdoor sports activities will be permitting with 75 percent capacity of the venue,” the West Bengal government said.
The T20I matches are expecting to draw around 50,000 spectators. With the full-strength Indian team facing the Kieron Pollard-guided West Indies team administered by Rohit Sharma. Before flying to Kolkata for three ODIs in Ahmedabad from February 6. The match will be playing.
The Consent to Participate in the T20I series :-
Meanwhile, Cricket Association of Bengal President Avishek Dalmiya submitted to the West Bengal government to give consent to the eligible to participate in the T20I series. Last year, Kolkata hosted the third T20I of New Zealand’s tour of India, with the Eden Gardens decked out.
Avishek said in a statement, “We are grateful to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The Chief Secretary and the Government of West Bengal for the release of the resumption of sports activities as well as the consent to bring back 75 percent of the spectators capacity to the stadium. Gave.”
CAB is confident that like New Zealand T20I last year. It will be able to host three T20Is against West Indies in a similar fashion this time around.
As per the original itinerary, West Indies were to play three ODIs in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Kolkata as well as three T20Is in Cuttack, Visakhapatnam, and Thiruvananthapuram.
