Taniya Bhatia: The Indian women’s cricket team has returned home after a clean sweep of the ODI series 3-0 in England. After returning home, the team’s wicket-keeper batsman Tania Bhatia has made a sensational disclosure.

Taniya Bhatia accused of theft at Marriott Hotel in London :-

Bhatia has alleged that the burglary took place in the London room where she was staying. She said that someone stole her bag from her room, which contained many valuables like cards, watches and jewellery, apart from cash. The wicketkeeper-batsman has revealed that the incident took place inside the Marriott Hotel room in London.

Taniya wrote this by tweeting :-

Taniya Bhatia tweeted and wrote, ‘Shocked and disappointed with the Marriott Hotel Management. There has been a theft in my room. My bag full of cash, cards, watches and jewellery, has been stolen. There is no arrangement at Marriott Hotel.

I hope for immediate investigation and resolution of this matter. Such an incident in the favorite hotel of the England Cricket Board is astonishing. Hope they will also take cognizance of the matter.

Marriott Hotel also issued a statement on Twitter :-

Meanwhile, the hotel where Tania was staying has also issued a statement in this matter. Marriott Hotels issued a statement on Twitter. The hotel management said, “Taniya Bhatia, we are sorry to hear this. Please message us your name and email address along with the exact dates of your stay so that we can investigate the matter further.

Taniya Bhatia was part of T20 and ODI team on England tour :-

Taniya Bhatia was part of the T20 and ODI team on the England tour. But she did not get a chance to play a single match. Richa Ghosh in T20Is while Yastika Bhatia took over behind the wicket in ODIs. Tania has been named as a reserve player in the Indian team for the upcoming 2022 Asia Cup.
