IPL 2022 Playoffs Teams: Which are the four teams of the playoff, it is now clear. The 10 teams of IPL were divided into 2 groups, 2 teams from each group reached the playoffs. Bangalore became the fourth team to reach the playoffs (Which Teams Qualify for Playoffs in IPL 2022). Earlier, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals had confirmed their place.

2nd- Rajasthan Royals
3rd- Lucknow Super Giants

1 – Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans started their IPL career in a great way in 2022. Under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, Gujarat Titans became the first team to reach the playoffs this season. Gujarat won 10 matches and lost 4 matches out of 14 matches in the group stage. The net run rate of the team was +.316, which was very good. The team topped the points table.

This is also the first season of Lucknow under the captaincy of KL Rahul. And making it to the playoffs in the very first season is a big deal for the franchise. In 14 matches of the group stage, Lucknow won 9 and lost 5, and the team’s net run rate was +.251.

4 – Royal Challengers Bangalore

The RCB team, captained by Faf du Plessis, could not make it to the playoffs even after playing their 14 matches. But she was supporting Mumbai against Delhi Capitals as RCB could qualify only with a Mumbai win. This happened and Mumbai beat Delhi by 5 wickets. With this win, Royal Challengers Bangalore became the fourth team to reach the playoffs. In the group stage, the team won 8 and lost 6 in 14 matches. The net run rate of the team -was 0.253, RCB was the only team among the four teams whose net run rate was minus.
