While interacting on Star Sports show Cricket Live, Gavaskar said “I see with Hardik what happened to Rohit Sharma. When he got the captaincy of Mumbai Indians for the first time in the middle of the season (in IPL 2013). Suddenly (we Saw) Rohit Sharma was playing cameos of 40, 50 and 60 runs and then started sticking till the end of the game and started taking responsibility.
