New Delhi, Online Desk. In IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has not been able to perform according to his stature and his bowling is not looking effective at all. Now about this simple performance of Bumrah in this season, former head coach of Team India Ravi Shastri gave his reaction. Shastri said that Bumrah’s poor performance is not a cause for concern and he is not getting the support of other bowlers from the other end. He also said that the opposing batsmen adopt a defensive approach against Bumrah, due to which they are not getting wickets.

Bumrah has so far taken only 5 wickets in 10 matches and in the last 6 matches he has got only two wickets

Ravi Shastri said that the reason behind Bumrah not getting wickets is that he is not getting proper support from any bowler from the other end, although he is bowling very well. This season so far Bumrah has taken only 5 wickets in 10 matches and in the last 6 matches he has got only two wickets. Talking to ESPNcricinfo, Shastri said that there is not much concern about his form, the only difference is that the opposition teams are playing him differently and they do not want to give him wickets while batting with caution. No team is looking to take chances against him and that is why he is not getting wickets.

Mumbai’s star bowler Bumrah’s poor performance this season has also affected the team and Mumbai’s team has already been out of the race for the playoffs.
