IPL 2023: Rinku Singh repeats history, this player did this three years back

Rinku Singh repeats history: In the 13th match of IPL 2023, Kolkata defeated Gujarat by 3 wickets in a thrilling match. The match was named after Rinku Singh, who scored a blistering 48 off 21 balls.

Rinku Singh hit 5 sixes in 5 balls :-

KKR needed 29 runs in the last over. On the first ball, Umesh Yadav took a single and gave strike to Rinku Singh. Getting 28 runs off 5 balls looked nothing less than an impossible task. But, Rinku Singh did this feat single-handedly.

Rinku hit five sixes in five balls of Yash Dayal bowling in the last over. This is the most exciting match in all the matches played in IPL 2023 so far.

Tewatiya has done this feat :-

It is noteworthy that earlier in the year 2020, Rahul Teotia, who was playing for Rajasthan at that time, had also done the feat of hitting five sixes in one over. The 9th match of IPL 2020 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab.

The Punjab team had scored a huge score of 223 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 2 wickets. Chasing this huge score, the hands and feet of the Rajasthan batsmen were swollen. However, in the 18th over, Teotia snatched the match from Punjab’s mouth with his bat.

Cottrell was thrashed fiercely :-

Tewatia changed the course of the match by hitting the first, second, third, fourth and sixth balls of Sheldon Cottrell, who came to bowl in the 18th over. Tewatia played a brilliant inning of 53 runs in this match by hitting 7 sixes.
