IPL 2023: ‘You take Care of the Bats, They take Care of You in the Match’, Rashid Khan Shows his Love for Bats

In IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans player Rashid Khan has not only wreaked havoc with bowling but has also shown good batting in some matches. Rashid himself has admitted on a few occasions that he likes to bat. In such a situation, one of his videos is currently becoming quite viral on social media in which he has talked about his bats.

Rashid Khan scored 79 runs in a match against Mumbai Indians in which he was also not out. Due to his innings, he prevented Mumbai from a big victory in this match. Meanwhile, a video of him has surfaced in which he has shared his love for the bat.

Rashid Khan Says that Every Bat he Holds is his Favourite

Gujarat Titans shared a video on their official Instagram page. In the beginning of this video, Rashid says that whatever bat he keeps with him is his favourite. He loves bat very much. He is asked how do you take care of your bat. To this he replies that,

It is very important that I take care of the bat because then the bat takes care of you in the match. This is very important. But I don’t have more than 10 bats. I feel I have lost something so I keep all my bats with me.

After this, Rashid explains how much he takes care of the cleanliness of his bats and always keeps them under cover so that they are safe.

I keep my bat very clean. Whenever something is not right, I clean it. I don’t like it when the bats are not clean. I keep the bat in the covers. People keep most of the bat directly in the spike bag, then the mark comes in it. I think then you don’t enjoy batting with that kind of bat. So I make sure I keep my bat under cover
