Apart from organizing the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Champions Trophy in Pakistan, due to the busy domestic season, the dates of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025 are all set to clash.

The two-and-a-half-month window of the IPL starts from March to the beginning of June.

The IPL’s two-and-a-half-month window (the timing of the tournament) runs from March to early June. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), however, is forced to reschedule the 10th season of its T20 league between March and May after the January-February regular schedule as the country is scheduled to host the Champions Trophy in February 2025.

This will be the first time that a T20 league will be during the lucrative IPL. It has to be that the cricketers playing in both the leagues choose any league. The Champions Trophy 2025 will be the first ICC tournament to be in Pakistan in nearly 30 years.
