James Anderson sets New world Record

England’s most successful fast bowler in Test cricket, James Anderson, achieved an incredible feat by taking the field for the team in the second Test of the series against South Africa on Thursday. This record has already been broken by James Anderson and he is the first and only player in the world to play 100 Tests in a country. Sachin is now second on the list, while Ricky Ponting (92 Tests in Australia) and James Anderson’s teammate Stuart Broad (91 Tests in England) are third and fourth respectively.

After a crushing defeat by an innings and 12 runs in the first match at Lord’s, hosts England are 0-1 down in the series.
