New Zealand veteran cricketer Simon Doull has given a big statement before the series against Pakistan. Doul, who plays the role of a commentator, is often in the headlines for his statements.

Recently, he criticized the strike rate of Pakistan captain Babar Azam during live commentary. Not only this, he also had an argument with former Pakistani cricketer Aamir Sohail. Now he has shared his experience of living in Pakistan.

Former veteran cricketer, ‘had to face mental torture’ :-

This former New Zealand veteran cricketer told that when he was in Pakistan, he had to face mental-torture. He told Pakistani channel Geo News, ‘Living in Pakistan is like living in jail. I was not allowed to go out because Babar Azam’s fans were waiting for me.

Simon Doul further said, I had to stay in Pakistan without eating anything for many days. I was very upset mentally but thank God that somehow I could get out of Pakistan safely.

New Zealand team is in Pakistan :-

Currently New Zealand team is on Pakistan tour. A 5-match T20 series is to be played between the two teams, whose first match will be held on Friday i.e. 14 April. The opening match of the series is to be played in Lahore. The first three T20 matches of the series will be played in Lahore while the last 2 matches will be played in Rawalpindi.

After T20, the New Zealand team will play a series of 5 ODIs on Pakistani soil. The first two ODIs of this series will be held in Rawalpindi and the remaining three matches in Karachi. The first Panday match of the series will be played on 27 April.
