Michael Vaughan targeted the Indian team: During the Australia vs Pakistan Test, Michael Vaughan asked Mark Waugh whether he thinks India is one of the least achieving teams in the world. Waugh did not answer directly, instead he asked Vaughan the same question and asked for his opinion.

Michael Vaughan, speaking on the Fox Sports panel, said :-

“He has not won much in recent times. I think they are an underachieving team. They don’t win anything. When was the last time they won anything? With all the talent, all the skills he had, he should have achieved more.

They have won Test series in Australia twice in 2018/19 and 2020/21, fantastic. But he was nowhere to be found in the last few World Cups, especially the T20 World Cup.

Vaughan further said :-

Vaughan further said that India should have achieved much more than what it did considering the talent available to it.

“They are a good team. “They have a lot of talent, but with the talent they have and the resources they have, I don’t think they’ll win.”

Indian batting order completely collapsed against South Africa :-

Virat Kohli scored a half-century against South Africa, but India failed to put up a fight with the bat and lost the opening Test against South Africa by an innings and 32 runs.

In this match, South African pacers Nandre Berger, Kagiso Rabada and Marco Janssen completely destroyed the Indian batting order. In batting, opener Dean Elgar scored a brilliant inning of 185 runs.
