Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis have resigned as the head coach and bowling coach of the national men’s team respectively. Misbah cited detention to “spend a lot of time in a bio-secure environment away from his family” as the reason for his determination,
Waqar Younis says :-
Younis and Misbah had worked together for a while, so it made sense for him to resign, considering that, with New Zealand arriving in Pakistan for a white-ball series later this month, the PCB has asked Saqlain Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq as the interim coach of the team.
Misbah and Younis told the PCB about their decisions on Monday morning, around the time the squad for the upcoming series against New Zealand as well as England and then the T20 World Cup was being generalized. They were appointed to their posts in September 2019, and there was still a year left in their agreement.
Misbah-ul-Haq said in a statement issued by the PCB, “The quarantine in Jamaica following the West Indies series provided me with an opportunity to get a glimpse of the schedule of international cricket for the past 24 months as well as the one ahead.“
“Given that I will have to live quite far away from my family and that too in a bio-secure environment, I have decided to withdraw from the preamble.”
I understand time may not be the paradigm, but I don’t think I’m in the right mind for the challenges ahead and it makes sense for someone to step up and take the class.
Will continue to agree :-
“The last 24 months have been absolutely enjoyable and I would like to thank my team and management for their approval. I wish the Pakistan cricket team all the best in the upcoming events and continue to agree every time they take the field. Let us envoy Pakistan.”
Knowing what Misbah was thinking, Younis called his decision “straightforward”.

He said, “After Misbah shared her decisions and future visions with me. It was easy for me to resign as we moved into roles together. Also resigned.”
“Working with Pakistan bowlers including youngsters has been the most satisfying as they have started showing flourish now. The bio-secure environment has taken its toll in the last 16 months, something we never sensed during our playing days. did.
Will be irregular and exciting for teams :-
“The next eight months will be irregular and exciting for the Pakistan team and, as before, I will continue to agree and make them happy. I want to thank each and every member of the Pakistan cricket team as we stayed together. The good and the bad In days, and hopefully there will be more Parth days ahead.”
