Heath Streak is the best bowler ever in the history of Zimbabwe cricket. Heath has been Zimbabwe’s highest wicket-taker in both ODI and Test cricket formats. Heath Streak has 216 wickets in Tests and 239 wickets in ODIs. No other bowler in Zimbabwe’s 42-year ICC cricket history has been able to beat even around this record of the streak.

Heath Streak is the first and only Zimbabwean player to score more than 2000 runs and more than 200 wickets in ODIs as an all-rounder with more than 1000 runs and more than 100 wickets in Tests. Not only this, he is the only bowler to have done the feat of taking 5 wickets in an innings for the most number of times in Tests from Zimbabwe.

Streak had a Falling Out With the Zimbabwe Cricket Board

In the golden phase of his career, Heath Streak had a estrangement from the Zimbabwe Cricket Board. After which, at the age of just 31, he retired from international cricket as a player in October 2005. Even before completing the 50th stage of age, Heath Streak has once again come into limelight.
