NZ vs NL: The second match of the three-match ODI series between New Zealand and Netherlands was played at Seddon Park, Hamilton. In this match, New Zealand, after recovering from a very poor start, defeated the Netherlands by 118 runs in the second ODI to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

NZ vs NL: Latham has had a great performance so far in ODIs as captain. Tom Latham has become the fifth batsman in the history of ODI cricket to score a century on his birthday in ODIs. Tom Latham remained not out after scoring 140 runs in this match.

Latham played an unbeaten innings of 140 runs in 123 balls with the help of 10 fours and five sixes. Kane Williamson is not a part of this series due to which the command of the New Zealand team has handed over to Tom Latham.

NZ vs NL: Tom Latham has played this century on his 30th birthday. With this, Tom has made the record of playing the biggest innings on his birthday. Earlier this record was registered in the name of Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar scored a century of 134 runs on his 25th birthday against Australia in 1998. Ross Taylor has also done this feat, Ross Taylor scored 131 runs in 2011. Sanath Jayasuriya and Vinod Kambli have also scored centuries on their birthdays.

Batting first in this match, New Zealand scored 264 runs for 9 wickets. New Zealand’s bowlers then bundled out the Netherlands’ innings for 146 runs in 34.1 overs to give the team a brilliant 118-run victory.

Six batsmen of the host team could not even reach the double figures. Michael Bracewell took three wickets for New Zealand while Kyle Jamieson and Ish Sodhi took two wickets each.
