PAK vs NZ: The second match of the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand was played in Karachi on Wednesday. In the first innings of this match, such an incident took place due to which field umpire Aleem Dar was seen in pain as well as anger. In this match, the New Zealand team was batting first and this incident happened in the 35th over of the Kiwi team’s innings. Actually Pakistani fielder Mohammad Wasim threw the ball and the ball went straight to the leg of umpire Aleem Dar. After which the umpire was seen in pain and he also reacted.
This incident happened in the 35th over when Haris Rauf was bowling and Glenn Phillips was on the bat. On the fourth ball of the over, Phillips played a shot at deep square leg and the ball went to pacer Mohammad Wasim Junior fielding there. Wasim threw the ball and the ball went straight to Aleem Dar’s ankle. After which the umpire looked very angry and immediately threw the bowler’s jersey on the ground with his hand. However, soon after, Naseem Shah of Pakistan tried to relax Aleem Dar by massaging his feet. Pakistani captain Babar Azam was also seen laughing at this incident.

Actually this incident happened in such a way that the umpire’s attention was not towards the ball. Usually the umpires are always alert to see the direction from which the ball is coming. At the same time, the umpire’s attention was not because he thought that maybe Wasim would throw towards the wicketkeeper. But it did not happen, he threw the throw at the end of the bowling and the ball went to the lower leg of Aleem Dar. However, this injury was not serious. After a brief break, Aleem Dar was again seen umpiring.
In the first match of this series, Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets to take a 1-0 lead. At the same time, in the second ODI played in Karachi, the Kiwi team made a comeback and leveled the series by defeating the hosts by 79 runs. Playing first in this match, New Zealand scored 261 runs thanks to a century by Devon Conway (101). In response, Pakistan’s team could not stand in front of the Kiwi bowlers and got reduced to 182. Barring Babar Azam (79), none of the Pakistani batsmen could leave much impact. The decisive match will now be held in Karachi on January 13.
