Pakistani Prime Minister Confronts Zimbabwe President over ‘Mr Bean’ Controversy, said this about Sportsmanship

PAK vs ZIM, T20 WC 2022: After Pakistan’s humiliating defeat on Thursday night, the President of Zimbabwe trolled Pakistan on Twitter. Now Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has replied to his tweet. The Pakistani PM says that he may not have the real Mr Bean, but he does have real cricketing spirit.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif tweeted, “We may not have the real Mr Bean, but we have the real cricketing spirit.. and we Pakistanis have a strange habit of making a comeback. Congratulations Mr President. Your team played really well today.

Let us tell you, the President of Zimbabwe had made a tweet mentioning Mr. Bean in his tweet after the defeat of Pakistan. He wrote ‘What a victory for Zimbabwe! Congratulations to Chevron. Next time send the real Mr. Bean.

What is the ‘Mr Bean’ controversy

The Mr Bean controversy came into the limelight ahead of the Pakistan vs Zimbabwe match. On October 25, the Pakistan Cricket Board posted some pictures of the team’s practice session, which were commented on by a Zimbabwean fan. That fan wrote ‘We will not forgive you as Zimbabweans… you once gave us Fraud Pak Bean instead of Mr Bean Rowan.. We will settle the matter tomorrow just pray that the rain saves you.’

This tweet of this fan named Ngugi Chasura became very viral before the match and when Zimbabwe won the match, their President also mentioned it in his tweet. According to the news, in 2016, Pakistan sent a Fake Mr. Bean to perform in Zimbabwe, this Fake Mr. Bean also took money from the local people during that time.

Pakistan lost by just 1 run

Talking about the competition, Pakistan suffered a 1 run defeat at the hands of Zimbabwe in a match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 played at the Perth Stadium on Thursday. After the defeat, Pakistan’s team has reached the verge of being out of the tournament. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 130 for 8 wickets and then restricted Pakistan to 129 for 8 in 20 overs.
