Karachi: After beating Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi in the case, the PCB has decided to refund the full amount for rehab and treatment of his knee injury. This has been disclosed by Pakistani news channel Geo TV.

Shaheen Afridi is getting treatment with his own money

On Thursday, in a TV channel, former Pakistan captain Shahin Afridi made a big disclosure about the treatment of Shaheen Afridi’s injury in London. Shaheen Afridi had said that Shaheen is getting treatment for his knee in London with his own money. He helped Shaheen on his part to get treatment from Lunder’s doctor. But the board did not take any initiative for this. There was an uproar in the cricket corridors of Pakistan after the allegations made by a legend like Shahid Afridi.

PCB will now refund the full cost

The source told Geo TV, “The PCB has accepted that the ticket from Dubai to London was booked by Shaheen Afridi himself. Now it has been agreed between the young bowler and the PCB that he will be reimbursed for his knee treatment, rehab, travel to London, hotel stay and other expenses.

Why did Shaheen have to bear the expenses?

He said, Shaheen had to book the ticket to London herself because it not possible to arrange all the necessary logistics in such a short time. After reaching London, Shaheen stayed with Dr. Zafar for a few days. After that he shifted to a hotel. After Shaheen Afridi, now Fakhar Zaman is also going to London for the treatment of his knee injury. Only Dr Imtiaz and Dr Zafar will treat them. Both of them included in the medical panel of PCB.
