PSL Matches will Not Affected

Now Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Najam Sethi has said that the terrorist attack on the Karachi police chief’s office on Friday evening will not affect the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Sethi said the matches will go on as per schedule as presidential level security arrangements have been made for the players and officials since the league started.

Players have got Presidential Level Security

Najam Sethi further said, ‘PSL matches will continue as per schedule. All the players are well take care of. Everyone given presidential level security. Another official of the board said that the security agencies and the government have also approved the continuation of PSL matches in Karachi.

Government Approved

Meanwhile, another official of the board said, “The terrorist incident in Karachi on Friday has nothing to do with PSL.” The government has approved the continuation of the remaining matches of the league. Two PSL matches are to be at the National Stadium in Karachi on Saturday and Sunday. In view of this, security increased at the team hotel and match venue.
