Rahul Dravid Health: Rahul Dravid’s Health Deteriorated, left for Bengaluru for Checkup

Indian coach Rahul Dravid’s health suddenly deteriorated. After this, leaving Team India, he left Kolkata alone for Bangalore on Friday morning. At the same time, the Indian cricket team, including other support staff and players, will leave for Thiruvananthapuram later for the third and final ODI against Sri Lanka. Dravid took an early morning flight from Kolkata to Bangalore due to health reasons. According to media reports, Rahul Dravid had complained of blood pressure during the second ODI on Thursday and the doctors of Bengal Cricket Association had checked him. However, now he will get it investigated in Bengaluru itself.

However, media reports also suggest that there is no need to worry about Rahul Dravid’s health as he is absolutely fine and may join the team in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s match. According to media reports, Dravid has gone to Bengaluru to consult his doctors and get some precautionary tests done.

India have been in excellent form in the Sri Lanka series so far. After winning the T20I series 2-1, the hosts have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The Rohit Sharma-led side had registered a resounding 67-run win in the first match of the series in Guwahati riding on some stellar batting performances from Rohit, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli.

In the second ODI in Kolkata, India bowled out Sri Lanka for 215 on the back of brilliant performances from Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj. Both took three wickets each. In reply, the hosts faced some early difficulties in the run-chase after the early dismissals of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli but Shreyas Iyer (28), Hardik Pandya (36) and KL Rahul steered the innings. Rahul remained unbeaten on 64 and handed India a four-wicket win in the 43rd over.
