Rajat, who became a hero with his unbeaten century in the Eliminator match of IPL 2022, recorded amazing records in his name. One of these records was also that he became the first uncapped player to score the fastest century in the IPL playoffs. Before this season of IPL, no uncapped batsman had scored a century in any playoff match, but Rajat showed it.

Rajat breaks Sehwag’s record and equals Saha
Rajat Patidar completed his century off 49 balls against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator match of IPL 2022, becoming the first uncapped batsman to score the fastest century in a playoff match in this league. Apart from this, he equaled Wriddhiman Saha in terms of scoring the fastest century in the IPL playoffs. Saha had scored a century in 49 balls in the IPL playoffs and now silver has come in his equalizer. Simultaneously, Rajat broke the record of Sehwag, equaling Saha, who had scored a century in 50 balls.
