Afghanistan spin bowler Rashid Khan has joined the club’s latest 100-wicket haul in men’s T20 Internationals. During his two-wicket haul against Pakistan in a Super 12 match at the Dubai International Stadium.
Rashid completed his century of wickets and became only the fourth man after Tim Southee, Shakib Al Hasan, and Lasith Malinga to achieve the reward.

Asif, who scored 100 runs on his T20 debut ten years ago and hit 68 sixes in the Pakistan Super League, is now showing his charm in international cricket.
In this T20 World Cup, he has scored 52 runs in 19 balls at a strike rate of 273.68 and is the only batsman in the Super 12 era along with Evin Lewis to hit seven sixes.
Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam also completed 1000 runs as captain in T20 Internationals, during his match-winning 47-ball 51 against Afghanistan in Dubai. He needed only 26 innings to achieve the feat, which is the lowest by any captain in the world.
India’s legend Virat Kohli had the previous record – 1000 runs in 30 innings. Babar is the ninth captain to guide Pakistan for the first time against Australia in Sydney in 2019 and the first player from Pakistan to score 1000 runs while leading the team.
Warner may not have had a good time in domestic T20s – he scored only 195 runs at a strike rate of 107.73 for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL this year and was dropped after two matches during the league’s UAE stint – but for Australia, He has been in excellent form since his return in 2019.
The 35-year-old played a match-winning knock of 65 off 42 balls against Sri Lanka in Dubai. Since 2019, he has scored 552 runs in T20Is at an average of 78.85 and strike rate of 138.34 and has scored one hundred and six half-centuries.

Australia pacer Mitchell played a key role in his team’s win over SL in Dubai in the Super 12 match with a 4-0-27-2 spell. 11 of his 24 balls were dots. He is the only person in the Test-playing country who has 50 percent of dot balls in his T20 career.
The Australian pacer has bowled 972 deliveries in T20Is. 486 of which are dots, giving him a dot-ball percentage of exactly 50.00%.

Among bowlers who have bowled at least 500 deliveries in men’s T20Is. W leg-spinner Samuel Badree (47.99) has the highest percentage points behind India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar (48.33).
Afghanistan’s 17-run victory streak in T20 Internationals in the United Arab Emirates ended with a loss against Pak in Dubai. While Pakistan stabilized their winning streak in 14 T20Is in the same country in 2016. Last time Afghanistan lost one.
The T20I in the United Arab Emirates was in a side’s game against Hong Kong in 2015 in Abu Dhabi. The game against Pak was also the first time in 16 T20Is in the United Arab Emirates that Rashid Khan was in a losing finish.
