New Delhi: In both the innings (174+178) of the Mohali Test, Sri Lanka could not score as many runs as India had scored in its first innings (574 runs). Ravindra Jadeja emerged as a hero in this one-sided victory of 222 runs and an innings on the third day. In the first innings, the entire team was one run behind Jadeja’s individual score, while in the second innings could only make three runs more. Jadeja was also adjudged man of the match due to his excellent all-round play of 175 runs and nine wickets.

Jadeja became man of the match for the third time in Mohali
