RR vs MI: Yuzvendra Chahal made a new record, became the first bowler to do so
In the year 2013, Yuzvendra Chahal made his debut in IPL wearing Mumbai Indians jersey and today after 11 years, Chahal has created history in IPL. Chahal did this big feat in the 38th match of IPL 2024 being played against Mumbai Indians. Chahal achieved this milestone as soon as he made Mohammad Nabi his victim.
Yuzvendra Chahal became the first bowler to take 200 wickets in IPL:-
In fact, as soon as Rajasthan Royals leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took his first wicket against Mumbai Indians, he made a big record in his name in the IPL. Chahal completed his 200 wickets in just 153 matches in IPL. Dwayne Bravo has the second highest number of wickets in IPL, with 183 wickets in his name. Piyush Chawla’s name is recorded at third place with 181 wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has 174 wickets in his name.
