Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is impressed by Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film was released in theaters on 1 December. Apart from Vicky, the film stars Samya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. After the screening of ‘Sam Bahadur’ in Mumbai on December 3, Sachin shared two pictures and praised the film.

Sachin Tendulkar praised Vicky Kaushal in ‘Sam Bahadur’

Sachin Tendulkar praised ‘Sam Bahadur’ and praised Vicky Kaushal’s stellar performance in the biopic war drama. The film is based on the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971 where Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army, following which a new nation, Bangladesh, was born. The film faced tough competition as it was released in theaters along with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’, which affected the business.

Everyone should watch the film about the courage and sacrifice of Marshal Sam Manekshaw

Sachin shared a picture with Vicky and his wife Anjali on X and wrote, “Loved Sam Bahadur. A must watch film for all generations to know the history of our country, and to understand the courage and sacrifices made by Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Vicky Kaushal has acted so well that it feels like Sam Bahadur is right in front of us.”
