Sachin Tendulkar strongly supports Arshdeep Singh

Mumbai: Arshdeep Singh has remained the center of discussion in the cricket world after India’s five-wicket defeat at the hands of Pakistan. Arshdeep dropped a simple catch of Asif Ali in the 18th over of Pakistan’s innings. Asif could not open the account then. Leaving the catch of Asif cost India heavy as he scored 16 runs in 8 balls to take Pakistan closer to victory.

Arshdeep Singh dropping the catch is believed to be the main reason for India’s defeat. The young fast bowler is being trolled fiercely on social media. Arshdeep was called till Khalistani. The current and former cricketers of Team India have supported the Punjab bowler. Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has also come out in support of Arshdeep Singh.

Tendulkar asks Arshdeep Singh to work continuously

Tendulkar took to Twitter to say that the game should be kept free from personal attacks and every player representing the country wants to give his/her best. He asked Arshdeep Singh to work continuously and claimed that he was paying attention to his progress.

Tendulkar tweeted, “Every player who represents the country gives his best and always plays for the country. They need our constant support and remember that in sports you win and you lose. So keep cricket or sports free from personal attack. Arshdeep Work hard. Give the best answer with a strong performance on the field. I’m following you My best wishes.

Arshdeep Singh gave 27 runs in 3.5 overs and took one wicket in the match against Pakistan. Arshdeep would now like to give a befitting reply to his critics with a strong performance against Sri Lanka.
