South Africa Announce Squad For White-Ball Tour Of India, their squad for the white-ball series against India starts on 28 September.
South Africa is set to tour India:-
Ahead of the T20 World Cup, South Africa is set to tour India to play three T20Is and three ODIs, starting on 28 September.
During the virtual press conference to announce the Proteas squad for the ICC Menβs T20 World Cup 2022, Cricket South Africa also announced the squads for their white-ball tour of India starting later this month.
CSA has decided to send the same 15-man squad selected for the T20 World Cup to India to get some much-needed game time ahead of the marquee event.
The Team was Rassie van der Dussen:-
The most notable name to have disappeared from the team was Rassie van der Dussen after recovering from a finger injury suffered during the second Test in Manchester against England.
He is due to undergo surgery and is expected to be out for at least six weeks. Captain Temba Bavuma returns after being ruled out of the five-match series against England in July-August.
Bavuma was out of action after suffering an elbow injury during the T20I series against India in June. But he made a full recovery for the series against India as well as the T20 World Cup.

T20I squad: 1. Temba Bavuma (Captain), 2. Quinton de Kock, 3. Reeza Hendrix, 4. Henrik Klaasen, 5. Keshav Maharaj, 6. Aiden Markram, 7. David Miller, 8. Lungi Ngidi, 9. Enrique Nortje, 10. Wayne Parnell, 11. Dwayne Pretorius, 12. Kagiso Rabada, 13. Riley Rossouw, 14. Tristan Sham Stumb.
13 out of 15 names from the T20I squad have made it to the ODI squad for the three-match series against India. Janman Malan and Andile Phehlukwayo will replace Riley Rosov and Tristan Stubbs in the 50-over matches.
