Sandeep Lamichhane got judicial custody

Sandeep Lamichhane: During the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, Nepal’s spinner Sandeep Lamichhane’s world record was broken by Joshua Little and on the other hand he was sent to judicial custody. Sandeep was arrested on October 6 in the minor rape case. The Kathmandu District Court has sent Sandeep Lamichhane to judicial custody till the final verdict of the case.

Joshua Little breaks Sandeep Lamichhane’s record :-

Ireland pacer Joshua Little took a hat-trick against New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. He broke Sandeep Lamichhane’s world record for most T20I wickets in a calendar year.

Before getting caught in the case, Sandeep took a total of 38 T20I wickets for Nepal in 2022 :-

Sandeep has played 40 T20 Internationals for Nepal and has taken a total of 78 wickets during this period. Apart from this, he has also played 9 IPL matches and during this he has taken 13 wickets.
