Shardul Thakur included for T20 World Cup, Deepak Chahar out of tournament

A big update has come out about the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. According to reports, the team’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the tournament and Shardul Thakur has been kept in his place in the reserve players. Apart from this, Mohammed Shami and Mohammad Siraj will leave for Australia for the T20 World Cup on Thursday.

Jasprit Bumrah was out of the tournament due to injury before the T20 World Cup. And this has dealt a big blow to Team India. His replacement has not yet been announced. For this, the names of Mohammed Shami, Mohammad Siraj and Deepak Chahar were being discussed. However, now Chahar has been out due to injury and Shardul Thakur has been kept in his place in the reserve players.

According to the news of Sports Tak, Mohammed Shami, Mohammad Siraj and Shardul Thakur will leave for Australia on Thursday. Earlier, Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Chahar were part of the standby players. But now Siraj and Shardul have also been included in the reserve players. However, no player has been included in the team as a replacement for Bumrah so far.

If we talk about Deepak Chahar, he was included in the reserve players but during the South Africa series he became a victim of injury. Chahar will now undergo rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). On the other hand, seeing the way Mohammad Siraj has performed recently. Many veterans have demanded to include him in the T20 World Cup team. Siraj bowled well in the South Africa series and for this reason he was adjudged the Player of the Series.
