IPL auction 2024: Shubham Dubey, who got a deal worth Rs 5 crore 60 lakh from Rajasthan Royals in the IPL auction, now wants to leave behind the past struggles and buy a new house for the family. Vidarbha’s middle-order batsman Dubey had scored runs at a strike rate of 185 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His childhood was spent in poverty and his father had to sell betel leaves to buy a cricket kit for him.
