After acquiring the Texas franchise in Major League Cricket (MLC), the Super Kings franchise has turned its focus towards promoting cricket by setting up a cricket academy in its home base Dallas metropolitan area. Dallas’ Louisville location is set to become the Super Kings’ ninth state-of-the-art training center following successful branches in London and Tamil Nadu.

Luis Mariano, Director of Cricket at Super Kings Academy, said :-

“We are very excited about bringing the Super Kings Academy to the United States of America and see tremendous potential for the growth of the game. Our ability to contribute to grassroots cricket takes existing talent to the next level. Dallas Texas Being the home base of the Super Kings, we are even more thrilled to launch our first academy there. It aligns strongly with our long-term plans in the market”.

More than 600 children are enrolled :-

Let us also tell you that the Dallas metro area is home to eight cricket academies, in which more than 600 children are enrolled. It has also been revealed that the annual gross receipts for the cricket coaching industry in Dallas is more than US $ 1.75 million.

Super Kings Academy will have the following facilities :-

The Super Kings Academy will start with an indoor facility that will have six full-length cricket lanes equipped with video analysis tools, large space for fielding and conditioning and an outdoor field for regular match practice.

Additionally, the Super Kings, with their resources and strength of bodies, are well positioned to make cricket mainstream in Dallas metro schools.
