SL vs ZIM, T20I: With the help of Craig Erwin’s half-century of 70 runs and Luke Jongwe’s unbeaten 25 runs in the last overs, Zimbabwe defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the second T20 match. With this win, Zimbabwe has leveled the series at 1-1. Sri Lanka, batting first, scored 173 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs, in response Zimbabwe won the match by scoring 178 runs losing 6 wickets in 19.5 overs.

SL vs ZIM, T20I: Zimbabwe made a steady start while chasing the target :-

Chasing the target of 174 runs, Zimbabwe made a steady start. However, he lost the wicket of opener Tinashe Kamunhukanwe for 12 runs in the fourth over. Craig Erwin played a match-winning inning of 70 runs in 54 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes for Zimbabwe.

Brian Bennett was out after scoring 25 runs. Ryan Burl was out after scoring 13 runs and captain Sikandar Raza after scoring eight runs. Luke Jongwe 25 not out and Clive Madande 15 not out batted explosively in the last overs and made their team win by four wickets by scoring 178 in 19.5 overs.

Earlier, thanks to Charith Asalanka’s 69 runs and Angelo Mathews’ unbeaten half-century of 66 runs, Sri Lanka set a target of 174 runs for Zimbabwe to win in the second T20 match today.

Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sri Lanka, who came to bat, had a very poor start and lost two wickets at the score of just one run. Pathum Nissanka was out after scoring one run in the first over. After this, Kusal Perera returned to the pavilion after getting out on zero on the fourth ball of the second over. Kusal Mendis also got out after making four. Sadira Samarawakrima was caught by Madande on Wellington’s ball on 16 runs.

Sri Lanka had lost four wickets for 27 runs in five overs. After this, the pair of Charith Asalanka and Angelo Mathews took over the Sri Lankan innings and scored runs rapidly. Charith Asalanka played an inning of 69 runs in 39 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes. Jongwe got him caught out by Williams. After this Dasun Shanka was out after scoring nine runs.
