Special Preparationof Australia for Border Gavaskar Trophy begins, India-like Pitch Made at Home

IND vs AUS: The first match of the four-match T20 series between India and Australia will be played in Nagpur from February 9. This series is important for both the teams from the point of view of WTC finals. The Australian team is working hard for this series. It becomes a very difficult task for foreign teams to play on the spin pitches of India. In such a situation, the Kangaroo team is making special preparations for this series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Australia will be hoping that the specially prepared pitches at home will help them win a Test series in India, which they have not won since 2004.

Team will come to India next week

The Australian team, to be captained by Pat Cummins, will make their journey from Down Under to Bengaluru next week. The team will stay at the IT city hub for five days before catching flights to Orange City, India. As per reports, the touch of the practice pitches in Nagpur for the warm-up session will be similar to the Test pitch, which will help the visiting team adapt to the conditions. However, the Australian coaching staff believes that the conditions they can control at home are just as important.
