Sri Lanka Cricket: Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad for 4 day games against South Africa ‘A’ Team

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has selected the following Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad to take part in the two four-day games against South Africa ‘A’ Team.

Sri Lanka ‘A’ Squad :-

• Nishan Madushka
• Lasith Croospulle
• Kamindu Mendis – Vice Captain
• Pasindu Sooriyabandara
• Nipun Dhananjaya – Captain
• Lahiru Udara (WK)
• Janith Liyanage
• Lasith Embuldeniya
• Lakshitha Rasanjana
• Dilshan Madushanka
• Milan Rathnayake
• Praveen Jayawickrama
• Vishwa Fernando – will not play owing to injury.
• Ramesh Mendis
• Minod Bhanuka (WK)
• Nuwanidu Fernando

Players which are replaced :-

– Lahiru Samarakoon included in the squad in place of Vishwa Fernando.
– Lasith Embuldeniya will replaced by Shashika Dulshan in the second four- day game.

The squad was issued subject to the pending approval of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
