Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been ruled out of Australia vs New Zealand white-ball series. Due to injury, Stoinis will miss the final and remaining ODIs of the tour. There is no official update yet on Stoinis’ participation in Australia’s further event.

The 33-year-old reportedly suffered a low-grade side strain, ie a muscle strain or tummy spasm. Stoinis will rehab in Perth before the India tour. Hobart Hurricanes right-arm fast bowler Nathan Ellis has been called into the Australian team to fill the spot.
