Suresh Raina: Left-handed batsman Suresh Raina announced his retirement from international cricket on 15 August 2020. Just minutes before that MS Dhoni had said goodbye to international cricket.
Although both the legends were available for IPL and domestic cricket, Raina has now announced that he is not a part of any tournament affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Raina gave this information to BCCI and UPCA :-
According to the report published in Dainik Jagran, Suresh Raina has informed the officials of BCCI and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) that he will not play in Indian cricket. However, he has also said that he can play foreign leagues. He is going to start it with the Road Safety World Series. Raina was not bought by any team in the mega auction of IPL 2022.
Raina will be available to play in different leagues abroad :-
Suresh Raina will be available to play in different leagues in the country and abroad after obtaining NOC from BCCI. Before him Yuvraj Singh has played foreign leagues and he can also take part in leagues organized in the country. Suresh Raina has told that he has taken NOC from UPCA and has informed BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and Vice President Rajeev Shukla.
Suresh Raina will be part of the Road Safety World Series starting from 10 September :-
Raina has also confirmed that he will also be a part of the Road Safety World Series starting September 10. He has been practicing for the past one week. Suresh Raina, who played 205 IPL matches, has also informed that he has been approached for T20 leagues of South Africa, Sri Lanka and UAE. He can play for the team bought by CSK’s parent company India Cements in South Africa’s new T20 league.
