Babar Azam gave his statement about Shaheen Afridi’s play against India :-

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has given his statement regarding Shaheen Afridi ‘s play against India. Babar gave a big update on Shaheen in a press conference before the start of the tournament.

Babar, a right-handed batsman, is celebrating his 28th birthday on Saturday. He said that fast bowler Shaheen is completely fit and ready to give his 100 percent.

Fakhar Zaman also returned with Shaheen Afridi :-

Babar said, “Surely Shaheen and Fakhar Zaman are back. We have six days for the first match, so we will use these practice matches. Shaheen is now fully fit and ready to give her 100 per cent. So, we are excited to see him play.”

However, this time inside Shaheen Afridi is not the same as before as he was walking away from cricket since July. Things are not going to be easy this time for Afridi, who has returned to the team after injury.

Afridi missed the Asia Cup, the series with England and then the tri-series against New Zealand due to injury. Whether Afridi will play against India now is the biggest question.
