He scored 117 runs in 7 balls with the help of 7 fours and 10 sixes against hosts South Africa on 11 September 2007. Gayle is the only batsman to score two centuries in the T20 World Cup. In the year 2016, he scored an unbeaten 100 in 48 balls with the help of 5 fours and 11 sixes while batting stormy against England.
Mahela Jayawardene of Sri Lanka scored a century against Zimbabwe in the ICC T20 World Cup 2010. Jayawardene scored 100 runs in 64 balls on 3 May.

Brendon McCullum of New Zealand is famous for his fiery batting. The highest individual score of the T20 World Cup is recorded in his name. He scored 123 against Bangladesh in the year 2012.
Bangladesh has not won the T20 World Cup title even once
Bangladesh has not won the T20 WC title even once. But Tamim Iqbal of Bangladesh scored 103 against Oman in the year 2016.
Pakistan won the T20 WC title in the year 2009. Ahmed Shehzad of Pakistan scored a century against Bangladesh in the 2014 T20 World Cup. Then Ahmed Shahzad had scored 111 runs.
Alex Hales of England scored a stormy century against Sri Lanka in the 2014 T20 WC. He scored 116 runs in 64 balls.

England team reached the semi-finals
In the year 2021 T20 World Cup, the England team reached the semi-finals. Where he had to face defeat at the hands of New Zealand. But England’s star wicketkeeper Jos Buttler scored 101 runs against Sri Lanka in the year 2021.
Suresh Raina is the only Indian player to score a century in the T20 World Cup. He played an innings of 101 runs against South Africa in the year 2010.
