74 matches will played this time-

A total of 74 matches are to played in the current season of IPL. There are 70 league-round matches to held in this. While 4 playoff matches are also include. The BCCI has decided to hold league-round matches in Maharashtra. The league-round matches will be played at three stadiums in Mumbai and one in Pune. At the same time, on which ground the playoff matches will be held, it is yet to be decided. Compared to media reports, these matches can be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Four stadiums have been fixed for the league

20 matches will be played at Wankhede, 15 at Brabourne Stadium, 20 at DY Patil Stadium, and 15 in Pune.

IPL 2022 format

The 10 teams will be divided into two groups. There will be five more teams in Group-A and five teams in Group-B.
