The Afghanistan Men’s Future Tours Program (FTP) Announced For The Period 2023-27. Afghanistan will play four series against Ireland and three against Zimbabwe in the next round, while also taking on top teams like Australia, India, and New Zealand.

The announcement of the FTP is the result of a collective effort of the full members with the support of the ICC, ensuring the certainty of cricket fixtures with all bilateral series confirmed in all three formats. The exact dates and locations of the series are to be announcing to the members in due course.

We are committing to taking the sport forward and giving more fans more opportunities to enjoy cricket but are very aware of the need to balance that ambition with the welfare of players.

Naseeb Khan, Chief Executive Officer of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, welcomed the announcement of the FTP.

ACB CEO Naseeb Khan: “The Afghanistan Cricket Board is delighting to be a key part of the ICC’s Future Tours program for the next cycle 2023-2027.

The increased number of Test matches will affect the development of the game as well as the players. Which is important in terms of our future plans.

“We have always admired playing against big countries and as per the new cycle. We are looking forward to playing some red-ball cricket against them.
