Melbourne, AP. The body of late Australian spinner Shane Warne was on Thursday brought to his home city of Melbourne from Bangkok in a private jet. Warne’s body was brought here in a coffin wrapped in the Australian flag. The private jet landed here at around 8.30 pm local time. Shane Warne will be cremated with state honors on March 30 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Former spinner Warne died of a heart attack on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand on Friday. He was there with friends for a holiday. Warne took an Ashes hat-trick in 1994 at the MCG. And also took the 700th Test wicket on Boxing Day in 2006. He took 708 wickets in 145 Test matches in his career.

According to the post-mortem report of Shane Warne, he died of natural causes
Thailand Police said on Monday that according to the post-mortem report of former Australian cricketer Shane Warne. He died of natural causes. The report of the doctor who conducted the post-mortem sent to Warne’s family. And the Australian Embassy, said a statement issued by National Police Deputy Spokesperson Kisana Pathanacharon. It said that Warne’s family had no doubt that he died of natural causes. However, the cause of death not disclosed in the statement. Preliminary investigation revealed that he had suffered a heart attack. Samui Hospital Deputy Director Songyot Chayaninporamet said Warne did not have a corona infection. And there was no indication of any attack or murder.
