Irani Cup 2022: Irani Cup 2022 will be played between Saurashtra and Rest of India from Saturday (October 1). Veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara would like to return to Team India with his brilliant game when he takes on Saurashtra against Rest of India in the Irani Cup match here on Saturday. At the same time, five specialist openers have got a place in the rest of India’s team for this match.

Saurashtra team got big chance

Madhya Pradesh is the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy champion. But Saurashtra being the 2019-20 champions, is playing this match of the Irani Trophy as the match could not be for two consecutive seasons due to the Kovid-19 epidemic.
