Gulf Giants announced the squad for the first International League T20 (ILT20) to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in January and February. Six teams will participate in the first season, including the Adani Sports Line franchise Gulf Giants.

Chris Jordan in the Gulf Giants team

The Gulf Giants team includes some of the biggest names in T20 cricket like Chris Jordan, Chris Lynn, David Wiese, Tom Benton and Shimron Hetmyer. Andy Flower, former Zimbabwe captain and coach of the 2010 ICC T20 World Cup-winning England team. Has been appointed the team’s head coach for the first season of the tournament.

Flower has a long experience in coaching. He was also recently the coach of IPL franchise Lucknow Super Gulf Giants. Flower has previously coached the England and Afghanistan national teams. Punjab Kings in IPL, Maratha Arabians in Abu Dhabi T10, Multan Sultans in Pakistan Super League. St Lucia Kings in Caribbean Premier League and Delhi Bulls in Abu Dhabi T10.
