Earlier this record was recorded in the name of the match between Titans and Knights, where 501 runs were scored. The match was played in the CSA T20 Challenge in October last year.

Sultans batting first scored 262 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Gladiators mounted a strong counterattack and fell short of the target by only 9 runs. Quetta Gladiators scored 253 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Embarrassing Record in the Name of Qais Ahmed

An embarrassing record has been registered in the name of Quetta Gladiators spinner Kayes Ahmed. Ahmed, playing his fourth match in the ongoing PSL, took two wickets for 77 runs in four overs. Ahmed became the most expensive bowler in the bowling spell in the history of PSL. He left behind former captain Shahid Afridi, who had spent 67 runs in 4 overs.
