Australia’s pacer Jhye Richardson will not be able to be a part of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to hamstring (muscle strain) surgery.

Out of ODI Series as Well

The 26-year-old Richardson was to join the defending champions Mumbai Indians team in the 16th season of the IPL starting on 31 March. Due to this injury, he has also been ruled out of the three-match ODI series against India starting on 17 March. He had surgery last week after a hamstring injury re-emerged.
