Virat Kohli: While the Indian team is playing the T20 series against Australia, the senior players are taking a rest. According to the report, Virat Kohli will not play in the T20 and ODI series against South Africa. The report quoted sources as saying that Virat Kohli has asked for a break in white ball cricket. However, he will be available for the Test series during the South Africa tour.

Kohli is in London these days, where he was seen getting photographed with a fan.
Kohli is currently celebrating holidays with his family. And he has also confirmed his leave from BCCI.
Kohli will not be available for T20, ODI
According to media reports, Virat Kohli told the BCCI that he will not be available for the white-ball matches on the South Africa tour, which will begin with a three-match T20 series followed by a three-match ODI series. The tour will conclude with the Boxing Day and New Year Tests in Centurion and Cape Town respectively.

Virat will continue playing red-ball cricket
The report quoted a source as saying, βKohli has informed the BCCI and the selectors that he needs a break from white-ball cricket and he will contact them about when he wants to play white-ball cricket next. At present, he has informed BCCI that he will play red-ball cricket, which means he is available for two Test matches in South Africa.
