Odisha train accident: Former Indian opener batsman Virender Sehwag has made a big announcement regarding the Odisha train accident. Sehwag wrote on social media that his school would provide free education and complete accommodation to children who lost their parents in the accident. Posting a picture of the accident, he wrote that this picture will haunt us for a long time.

Three trains had become victims of Odisha train accident:-

It may be noted that three trains had met with an accident in Odisha on Friday. These include the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express and a goods train. 275 people died in the accident. At the same time, 1100 people were injured. After this heart-wrenching accident, people across the country expressed grief.

Will give free education to the afflicted children :-

In such a situation, Sehwag also took to social media to express his condolences to the victims. He also announced that his school would provide free education and accommodation to children who lost their parents in the accident.

Posting a picture of the accident, he wrote in the caption, “This picture will haunt us for a long time. The least I can do in this hour of grief is to ensure the education of the children of those who lost their lives in this painful accident.” I will give free education to such children in the boarding facility of Sehwag International School.”

Meanwhile, former India captain Virat Kohli and Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, along with several other sportspersons, expressed their condolences on the devastating train accident in Odisha. Kohli is in England with the Indian team for the World Test Championship final against Australia at The Oval from June 7. He wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
