New Delhi, Online Desk. Yuzvendra Chahal, playing for Rajasthan Royals in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League, is in excellent form. He has bowled well this season. The bowler, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore till last season, showed a strong game against the old franchise. Yuzvendra Chahal narrated an anecdote that told how an incident happened while playing for the Mumbai Indians team.
I was with Mumbai Indians in 2013
Talking to Ashwin and Karun Nair, Yuzvendra Chahal said, “My story, few people know about it. Although I never spoke or shared about it with anyone. In 2013 I was in Mumbai. Was with Indians. We had a match in Bangalore, then we had a get together. There was one player who was very drunk, I don’t want to name him. He was very drunk, look at me and he called me. He took me out and then again he hung me down from the balcony.”
My hands were holding them, my grip was getting weaker, I was on the 15th floor. Suddenly a lot of people came there who pulled me out of there and controlled the spot. As I had fainted, he gave me water. Then I realized how much responsibility you have to be when you are out with someone. So this was one incident where I think I got away with a very hard time. If there had been a small mistake there, I could have fallen down too.”
