ODI series of 3 matches will be played from August 18:-

India vs Zimbabwe (IND vs ZIM) ODI series of 3 matches will be played from 18 August. At the same time, for this tour, Team India left for Zimbabwe this morning.

A video of the Indian players arriving there was shared by the Zimbabwe Boardโ€™s Twitter handle. This tour will be very important for KL Rahul as this is his last chance to prepare himself for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.

Earlier this week, Rahul was made the captain for this tour in place of Shikhar Dhawan. Because he had passed his fitness test. Indian team will start its first practice session at 6:30 pm today.

The players were seen boarding their flight late Friday evening after BCCI confirmed the teamโ€™s departure on its Instagram handle.

Players like Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mohammad Siraj were seeing jetting to the African nation for the three-match ODI series.

VVS Laxman was also seeing as being a part of the Indian team as Rahul Dravid would be involving in the preparations for the Asia Cup. The players looked happy as they posed for pictures on their way to the African nation.
